Maxwell the undisputed king of most scintillating IPL-7 knocks
In the Twenty20 format, it's always the batting performances that bag
a fair share of the interest, and in this editon of the IPL, the story
has been the same. With the tournament entering its last lap, the top
batsmen have already warmed up and now aim to finish on a high.
Unfortunately, we are yet to see a century this season but there have been quite a few knocks that have lit up the seventh edition. Glenn Maxwell was the one who set the stage on fire in the UAE leg with scores of 95, 89*, 95 and then continued the fireworks when the event moved to India.
But Maxwell is not the lone batsman to have been in the spotlight. Batsmen like AB de Villiers (RCB), Dwayne Smith (CSK) and Yuvraj Singh (RCB) have joined the race with some scintillating stroke-play.

Indian Premier League: Fightback Shows Character of Kolkata Knight Riders, Says Gautam Gambhir
Cuttack:
Kolkata
Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday said the turnaround
staged by his side showed the "character" it possesses, after having

Kings XI Punjab or Chennai Super Kings - which team is more lethal?
It's an elbow fight for the top spot in IPL 7. Chennai Super Kings
(CSK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are taking turns to sit on top of the
leaderboard, but there's little to choose between the two teams who are
matching each other blow for blow.
Inching closer to the playoffs, CSK and KXIP have set the standards this season as other teams are trying to play catch-up but falling short on most occasions - barring may be Rajasthan Royals.
Like Chennai, Punjab too have faced defeat just twice in their 10
games so far, but unlike Chennai, to different opponents. Their off days
came against the Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders

Chennai's dominance may seem a little stronger considering their two defeats have come against the same team, i.e., Punjab. But KXIP will like to see that stat the other way round - that they are the only team to have beaten the two-time champions so far this season. So that evens out the scales a bit.CSK and KXIP are taking turns to sit on top of the IPL-7 leaderboard, and there's little to choose between the two teams.

Hyderabad: Kings XI Punjab skipper George Bailey yesterday cautioned his players against complacency as they prepare to lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League here on Wednesday."I think they have got a very strong side, I don't think they have any obvious weakness. They have got a strong batting line-up and they have got one of the best bowling line-ups.
